The Completed Appointments dashboard analyzes appointment retention by comparing the ratio of scheduled appointments to completed visits, helping practices understand patient attendance and provider efficiency.
Key Metrics

Total Completed Appointments: The number of visits that were successfully conducted.

No-Show Rate: The percentage of appointments where the patient did not show up.

Cancelation Rate: The percentage of appointments that were canceled before the scheduled time.

Unfinished Visits: Visits that do not meet the criteria for completed, canceled, or no-show statuses.
Definitions

Completed Visit: An appointment with an Athena Status of "CHECKED_OUT" or "CHECKING_OUT" or a visit that has
time_check_in_startandtime_checkout_endtimestamps, as long as the status is not "CANCELED" or "NO_SHOW." -
No-Show Visit: An appointment with an Athena Status of "NO_SHOW." The No-Show % is calculated as:
No-Show % = Visits No Show / (Visits Completed + Visits No Show)

Canceled Visit: An appointment with an Athena Status of "CANCELED."
